The BFG Trade Up Program is designed to give our valued customers a one time opportunity to upgrade their current BFG graphics card to a more recently released BFG graphics card and only pay the difference in cost (plus any applicable taxes).
This program only applies to BFG graphics cards launched after February 21, 2008. (meaning cards being traded in and cards being traded up to). This program may not be available to all customers, and certain conditions apply. Please read the following conditions carefully.
- Only BFG graphics cards introduced on or after February 21, 2008 are eligible for the Trade Up program. Eligible graphics cards include BFG GeForce 9 series graphics cards and some BFG GeForce 8 series graphics cards, such as the GeForce 8500 GT 1GB that was introduced after February 21, 2008.
- The BFG Trade Up Program is currently only available to residents in the U.S. and Canada. BFG will make the program available to other countries as soon as it becomes feasible to do so.
- Not all new BFG graphics cards will be eligible for the BFG Trade Up Program. While BFG will make every attempt to make desirable graphics cards available to customers, some conditions out of the Company’s control, such as limited quantities in stock, limited production runs, or early end of life status may affect the availability of some graphics cards.
- The BFG Trade Up Program is available to individual customers who have registered their new BFG graphics card on BFGTech.com within 30 days of original purchase.
- Customers must apply to the BFG Trade Up Program within 100 calendar days of the date of purchase on the invoice or receipt.
- BFG graphics cards purchased as part of a complete system are not eligible.
- BFG graphics cards attained through promotion, giveaway, or other similar events are not eligible, since a verifiable receipt or invoice from the original seller must accompany all eligible graphics cards.
- The BFG Trade Up Program is for individual customers only, and is not available to resellers, distributors, auctioneers, or any other commercial entities set up to sell or resell graphics cards to individuals or businesses.
- A customer may only use the BFG Trade Up Program once for each eligible graphics card. The graphics card traded up to cannot be used to Trade Up to a future card. However, customers who have purchased more than one graphics card can Trade Up each eligible card one time.
- The value of the graphics card being traded in will be determined by the purchase price listed on the customer's proof of purchase. The value of the graphics card being traded up to will be the BFG Trade up value listed at the time of processing the request. Once you create a profile and register your product, you will see the Trade Up products and pricing available to you in your profile.
- Once BFG has confirmed that the requested Trade Up card is available, BFG will notify the customer via email to confirm the price. The customer will have 15 days from the point of being notified to ship their old graphics card to BFG.
- Graphics cards being returned for exchange in the BFG Trade Up Program must be returned in clean, “like new”, fully working condition, with all packaging, CDs, manuals, and accessories with a copy of the original receipt or invoice from the authorized seller.Returned cards must not have been modified in any way, including overclocking and changing the fan. Any third party games or software originally included in the box are not required to be returned.
- Customers are responsible for properly packaging and safely shipping their graphics card to BFG. BFG is not responsible for graphics cards lost or damaged in transit. BFG strongly recommends customers insure the shipment and use a traceable carrier such as FedEx.
- BFG Tech must receive and accept eligible graphics cards returned for the BFG Trade Up Program before BFG will send out the Trade Up card.
- The BFG Trade Up Program may be discontinued or cancelled at any time by BFG, however any fees and/or charges concerning a pending Trade Up will be refunded up to the point the customer ships his/her card back to BFG Tech. Once the trade-in graphics card has been received by BFG Tech, the Trade Up transaction will be honored, unless the trade-in card is rejected in accordance with the rules and restrictions of the program.
- In addition to the cost of each Trade Up graphics card, the customer is responsible for paying all applicable sales tax and shipping fees, which could vary depending on the location of the customer.
